Looking for some support?
**Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Council has had to make some changes to our Youth Support Service.
We will now be providing support to our young people via phone, email, MS teams or Zoom.
We understand this is a difficult time for people so if you need support please reach out, we are here for you.**
We are currently experiencing a high demand for our Youth Support Service and there may be a wait time for support. Please don't hesitate to submit a support request, if we are not able to provide support at this time we can work with you to explore other options.
Youth Services can help young people (10-25 years old in the Maroondah area) with a wide range of things, like becoming employment ready, family issues, getting involved in the community, engaging with education, connecting with mental health services, life skills or if you're just having a hard time. If we can't help, we'll find another service who can and support you to access that service.
Check out the infographic below to see what we can help with and how it all works.
Our youth workers provide goal based support, we don't offer counselling or ongoing mental health support. We acknowledge that this might not be the best fit for everyone. If our service is not right for you, our youth workers will chat to you about other options that may suit you better.
To connect with us for support, simply fill in the Support Request Form below to help us understand what you need, or call us 9294 5704 during office hours (Mon-Fri, 8.30am-5.00pm).
