Love of Learning - Leadership - Teamwork - Honesty - Love

Olivia is a dedicated and confident leader through her roles within Norwood Secondary College, the SWAT and MYWA teams. She is an excellent role model for others around her and deserves to be acknowledged for her hark work and commitment to all she does through the Maroondah Council, school and friendships.

Olivia is an exceptional young leader whose involvement in a wide variety of endeavours makes her an exceptional role model for other students. In school she was involved in the Year 10 Leadership team and the Student Wellbeing Action Team through Maroondah City Council, and will be a Peer Support leader for 2020. Olivia also loves to play the piano and is involved in an acapella group and the NSC Jazz Band. Outside of school Olivia is a Maroondah Youth Wellbeing Advocate where she is required to attend meetings and offer her opinion on issues and challenges facing young people in the Maroondah area. Furthermore, Olivia has competed in public speaking competitions such as the Legacy Public Speakers competition where she represented her state. Her team also placed second in the World Scholars Cup. In addition to this, she loves to play sports (particularly netball, field hockey, volleyball, athletics and surfing), and is also a netball umpire. Her positive, “can-do” attitude and active involvement makes her a highly valued member of the NSC community.
