Youth Services provides lots of services for young people, but did you know we also support Youth Workers in Maroondah?
We play a key role in the coordination and support of the Maroondah youth sector, including supporting the many amazing youth workers, community workers and school staff who work here. Some of the key ways we do this are outlined below.
Networking and information sharing
We facilitate the Maroondah Youth Services Providers Network (MYSPN). MYSPN is a professional network for people who work with or for young people in the Maroondah area, such as youth workers, community workers, and school staff. Check out the MYSPN page for details on our meetings, email list and how to join.

EV’s Youth Centre is Council’s dedicated multi-purpose youth facility, and is available on application - check out the EV’s Youth Centre page for details on how to apply.
Consultations and data
Youth Services undertakes regular consultations with young people and has access to lots of data that can be useful for community agencies and schools, for things like planning, service coordination, advocacy and grant applications. Publicly available reports can be found on our Youth Strategy page, or you can contact us for more information.
We’re always keen to talk about partnership opportunities and collaborative work, so get in touch to discuss!
